Step-by-Step Guide to Add Your Vehicle in the LTMS Portal
There is a very easy process to add your car or motorcycle in the LTMS portal. If you have prepared all the required documents and checked the details then the rest of the process will be done in a few simple steps, continue with us!
Step 1: Log In to Your LTMS Account
- In the first step you have to login your account. To login go to your device’s browser, search “LTMS portal” and then click on the official website.
- Then click on the “Login” button, you will have a window on your screen enter your registered mobile number and valid password then click “login”.
Step 2: Go to the “Vehicles” Section
- When you click the login a dashboard will appear on the screen. From the dashboard click on “Vehicle”.
- Now, select “Add vehicle” or “Link Vehicle”.
Step 3: Enter Plate Number or MV File Number
Now in the 3rd step you have to enter your vehicle’s ID number like Plate or MV file number. Enter your plate number. If it is not available yet then use your MV File Number instead of plate number and enter the number.
Step 4: Enter Vehicle Details
Now you have to add the vehicle’s information, so fill in:
- Engine number
- Chassis number
- Vehicle type (car or motorcycle)
Step 5: Review and Submit

How to List a Vehicle Without a Plate Number
If you bought a new car or motorcycle and you don’t have your plate number. When you buy a vehicle you are given the temporary plate number which is replaced by the original number plate.
